Jahaz Mahal/Ship Palace-it is located between two artificial lakes, this two storied architectural complex is so named as it appears like a ship floating in water, it was built by Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din-Khilji and it served as a zenana for the sultan. Jahaz Mahal is a rectangular structure with three feet tall and thick walls. Fort comprises of three huge halls, separated by corridors, having small rooms in the end. Northern end of the terrace leads to a bath with broad steps leading into it. The palace is adorned with fountains and cascades. This glorious Jahaz Mahal was built around in 1436-1440.
