Kota City is located in the southeast of northern Indian State of Rajasthan and 250 km away from Jaipur. Kota is situated on the banks of River Chambal offering beautiful views. Kota is third largest populous City of Rajasthan after Jaipur and Jodhpur. In earlier times Kota was a part of Bundi a Rajput Kingdom, it separated in 17th century. In the early 17th century, during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir, the ruler of Bundi - Rao Ratan Singh, gave the smaller part of Kota to his son, Madho Singh. Since then Kota became epitome of the Rajput glory and culture.
