Monsoon Palace is well-known as Sajjan Garh Palace named after Maharana Sajjan Singh, who built this splendid Fort in 1884. Monsoon Palace of Udaipur is a Hilltop Castle placed on the peak Bansdara Mountain of Aravalli range about 944 m above sea level. Whole Monsoon Place is gracefully structured with white marble and is situated at such an altitude that it presents magnificent views of Lake Pichola, Fateh Sagar Lake, Aravalli mountains, and surrounding countryside. One can’t miss the panoramic sunset views from the Palace. At night Palace seems like a sparkling Castle floating in the sky.

The Palace was constructed to watch monsoon clouds that’s why named as Monsoon Palace. Palace was also a Holiday retreat and Hunting lodge of Royal Family. There is also Sajjangarh Wild life Santuary which encircles the Monsoon Palace and open for visitors.

This beautiful palatial Castle is major tourist attraction and opened from 9 am to 6 pm.
