Tulsi Manas Mandir in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh

Tulsi Manas Temple is one of the famous places of worship in Hindu Religion and temple is located in sacred city Varanasi. The Tulsi Manas Temple has great significance and importance in historical time. The famous Hindu Epic Ramayan originally was written in Sanskrit language by great saint Valmiki in between 500 and 100 BC. Being in Sanskrit it was not understandable by people, so in the 16th century Goswami Tulsidas wrote the Ramayan in Awadhi accent of Hindi language. The Awadhi Version was called Ramcharitmanas, which means Lake of the deeds of Rama.

The place where Tulsidas wrote Ramcharitmanas, on the same place Seth Ratan Lall Sureka of Bandhaghat (Howrah) constructed a temple in 1964. The temple is carved with white marble and surrounded with garden. Pictorials of scenes are decorated on the walls of temple. With this version of Ramayan many people are now accessible to read Epic Ramayan.
