Sasan Gir - Lion Safari Tours

Sasan Gir is located near the Talala Gir in Gujarat State of India. It is situated around 43 km away from the Somnath and 60km away from Junagadh of Gujarat. The Government notified the large geographical extent of Sasan Gir as wildlife sanctuary on 18th September, 1965 in order to conserve the Asiatic Lion. It covers total area of 1412 square kilometers of which 258 Km forms the core area of the National Park. Gir National Park in Gujarat is the only place in the world where you can spot lions roaming free in the wild.

To Reach the Gir National Park one can travel through Air from the nearest Airport which is of Diu or Rajkot, one can approach through Junagarh Railway Station or can access via Road transport. Sasan Gir is situated 110 km from Diu City and Ahmedabad is 410 km away from it.
